One of the equipment that should be added to the exhaust outlets of Gas Turbines of Natural Gas Power Plants is special silencers (gas turbine exhaust silencers), which must be designed and produced in accordance with each gas turbine.
Exhaust silencers are special manufacturing equipment that reduces the noise generated in the Gas Turbine exhaust below a certain value (eg 85dB). Each exhaust silencer is custom designed around the following parameters:
- acoustic targets
- Streaming requirements
- pressure drop
- Heat
Gas Turbine exhaust silencers are integrated into the exhaust outlet of the turbine, the connection line between it and the chimney or inside the chimney.
